☆ Tell us a little bit about your story and your company.
Gourmet Soberanis emerge in 2005, we started selling lunch meals in Playa del Carmen downtown near 5th Av. in a small kitchen, and after some years of experience, we switch to wedding caterings, in which we have been for around 15 amazing years, full of joy, hard work, passion and love on what we do.
☆ How did you get into wedding and events industry?
We always wanted to be part of this industry in The Riviera Maya, so one day selling those lunch meals a client said to me: I´m getting married and you have to be my wedding cater, so that’s how we began with this magical project.
☆ What’s your favorite thing about working in the wedding and events industry?
Our favorite part of working in the weddings and events industry is the chance to get the opportunity to learn about the different kind of cultures, foods, and likes of each one of our clients, giving them one of the best food they have ever tried and made their day one of a kind, with the best taste we can give to them and their guests.

☆ If you had to pick one meal choice from your menu which one would that be and WHY?
That is a hard question because each meal of our menu was created thinking of different tasting, but if it´s mandatory to reply, I think seafood dishes are my answer because as I said is a fresh, yummy, and perfect combo with beach and drinks.
☆ What are some of your favorite local dishes?
The Tikinchi Fish/Shrimps, Lime Soup, Cochinita tacos, each of those dishes have a unique tasting and are traditional of the Yucatán peninsula.

☆ What piece of advice would you give to future brides and grooms?
To enjoy every moment while planning their wedding, to feel the confidence and trust with each vendor and supplier that they decide to work with, and to let the experts do magic on what they are good at it, this will turn into THE BEST day of their life. Good vibes and good thoughts.
