Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya – Paloma & Edwin

Presenting you a love story of two special people, Paloma, and Edwin, that started with them being neighbors (door to door) to Mr. and Mrs. The lovely couple reached out to us last year to plan their destination wedding in Riviera Maya and we were more than happy to start with the wedding preparations. Villa la Joya was the venue of their choice and the love birds said their forever I DO’s on the elegant steps in front of the entrance of the villa, officiated by their uncle.

When planning their wedding, we talked a lot about their wedding theme and at the end we decided to go with – elegant white theme with soft touches of gold and a pop of dusty pink and blue colors.

After the ceremony, they held the cocktail hour at the backyard lawn of the villa and the reception on the terrace overlooking the ocean. One of my favorite details was their dance floor. Set up over the pool with Paloma and Edwin’s initials to have more dance space. They celebrated the beginning of their union by entering with Mariachis who entertained the guest during the dinner provided by the best Chef – Soberanis Gourmet.

Paloma’s family wanted to surprise the bride and groom and the guests with a special performance by inviting the famous Banda Sinaloense. And it was the right surprise, given the fact that all of the guests danced the night away. Even when there was a little sparkle of (unexpected) rain, it didn’t stop anyone from dancing all night long.
