Mexican Hacienda Destination Wedding

In Riviera Maya, there are many private wedding venues, but when we showed this Hacienda to Melissa & Tony they knew immediately that this was their unique wedding venue for them to incorporate the best parts of their Mexican culture and Portuguese background and have an incredible destination wedding.

For the wedding, they optioned a catholic ceremony in the nearby Cumbres church, followed by the cocktail in the beautiful Hacienda Del Rey.

Melissa and her bridesmaids had the hair and makeup team come over to the Hacienda to get ready and do some fun photo sessions before the ceremony. They hired a beautiful classic Rolls Roys to bring Melissa and her father to the church.

They held the cocktail in the gorgeous area called ‘plaza with the fountain’. There were mariachis playing songs while guests enjoyed margaritas and passed hors d’oeuvres by the best Chef Soberanis Gourmet.

After the cocktail hour, we directed everyone to the Reception area and in the garden. There was this luxurious clear tent decorated with draping and chandeliers. The decor was astonishing! We decorated the tables with white, peachy, and greenery flowers with a touch of gold elements and the napkins were olive green. All wooden tables with cross-back chairs were the perfect touch to their rustic traditional decor.

After the buffet-style dinner, the dance started with a Latin and Mexican music mix powered by DJ Luca. DJ Bogar from UNO  Everyone was on the dance floor dancing and having the best time. And our favorite Mexican tradition was the Moneydance.

Melissa and Tony, thank you so much for having us be a part of your special day. We wish you all the happiness and love in the world!
