Destination Wedding Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen

If there were ever a wedding that defined “wedding bliss” in a true sense, it would undoubtedly be Parnia’s & Logan’s destination wedding in Playa del Carmen! As their planners, we felt honored to assist the lovely couple in hosting their special day at one of the most luxurious venues – The Grand Hyatt. This iconic beachfront wedding venue is amazingly photogenic, featuring absolutely stunning elegant details! This Venue  is a fantastic choice for couples who want to celebrate love on a high note. 

Working with Parnia & Logan for over a year was pure joy. We carefully crafted and designed every detail to match their story. The day started with Parnia and her girls getting-ready shots. She looked absolutely stellar in a lovely gown with a long slit and beautiful neckline. The girls complemented her perfectly, thanks to Zoe Elizabeth  and her fantastic team! 

Following was the first look inside the hotel’s garden, a secluded area with plenty of greenery. We suggested Parnia & Logan opt for the first look to help ease their nerves and let them enjoy some intimate moments.

Shortly after the first look, we moved for the ceremony with the most unique setting – over the pool! The scenery overlooked the Caribbean Sea. Parnia walked down the aisle, making her way to Logan, who stood beneath a gorgeous flower arch that framed the ocean backdrop perfectly. Our talented vendor, Cherry Blossom, did an excellent job curating the beautiful arch that adorned both the ceremony and the reception space. Parnia & Logan exchanged vows in the presence of their dear friend who officiated  the ceremony. As they read vows, everyone present erupted in joy and showered their blessings on the newlyweds.

After the ceremony, all guests were ushered for the cocktail hour and were treated to Margaritas and delicious canapes. Before the reception space was open, we sneaked out with Parnia & Logan for an intimate portrait session.

For the reception, the newlyweds chose the ballroom to celebrate with their loved ones. As they entered, they performed their first dance as husband and wife. They were both swept away from the realization that they just got married! Another highlight of the evening was the traditional unique ceremony – a Persian knife dance. A female family member started it, and the groom had to obtain a knife for cutting the wedding cake.

The guests literally savored the fantastic dinner provided by the Banquet team of the Hyatt. The entire evening was filled with dance, fun, and music, accompanied by a fabulous photo booth where all guests gathered, capturing lovely moments. 

Parnia & Logan’s destination wedding at Playa del Carmen is one of the best weddings we have ever seen. Everything at this Persian wedding was perfect from start to finish, and all their guests will surely remember it for decades to come!
