COVID-19 Wedding Update for Destination Couples
We are all aware of what has been going on around us since the beginning of the year. The entire world is facing a tragic and unpredicted situation regarding pandemic. A lot of couples had to make tough decisions about their weddings due to COVID-19 spreading globally. Even though most weddings were stopped and postponed for later this year, we are happy that our couples, like us, are still positive about this whole situation and waiting for their big day to come. We have talked about the pandemic a lot on our social media channels but wanted to take this time to give you super outstanding news. Here is a COVID-19 wedding update.

COVID-19 WEDDING UPDATE – RIVIERA MAYA
#1 Restaurants and Hotels Are ReOpening!
Even though a lot of the beaches here in Riviera Maya are still closed, a lot of restaurants and hotels are coming back, opening their doors for guests.
Here are some of our favorite places in Riviera Maya that are welcoming their guests with open hands:
» Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Mata
» Hotel Xcaret, Parque Xcaret and Experiences Xcaret (new protocol called Xeguridad 360)
» Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya
Andaz Mayakoa Resort Riviera Maya Xcaret Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya Grand Velas Riviera Maya
#2 New Hygiene Standards and Protocols
We recently found out that our state is in Orange Phase (there were installed a traffic light systems which will indicate the different phases of getting back to normal) and that all businesses have been instructed to implement health measures and strict sanitary protocol that includes around 150 different measures. We, Paradise Weddings and Events and all our lovely vendors are preparing for the upcoming weddings to follow with the government rules and standards too.
#3 Tourist Attractions
The Riviera Maya tourist attractions opened their doors to international tourism.
#4 Couples Visiting!
This is probably one of our favorite updates. We are happy to say that a lot of our couples are arranging and booking their visits to the Riviera Maya. We can’t wait to have you here, meet you and take you on a little tour to find the perfect wedding venue.
#5 We are back!
Together with my lovely team of Paradise Weddings & Events, we are back in our offices. Ready to continue with planning and designing your gorgeous weddings. Most importantly, we are here to support you and your partner all the way through the process during these uncertain, tough times.
NOTE TO OUR COUPLES
The most important thing right now is to stay calm and work on your wedding planning. The reason I am saying this is that it is important to work on the things you were planning/working before the pandemic came. When this all is over we will be on track and everything will go as smoothly as it was supposed to be the first time. Just concentrate on the things significant to you and we assure you – you will have the weddings of your dreams. Positivity is the key!
Lots of Love,
Anna
