I said 'Yes' I will marry you, but then came the challenge where and how to proceed with this great milestone in our lives. We chose Paradise Wedding & Events, wedding planners (WP) Anna, Gaby & Mina and it was a match made in heaven. Not only were our WP’s able to translate our thoughts in an excellent way, our ideas and their recommendations were clear, the plan was molded and executed to perfection on event day! It was obvious to us that chemistry between a couple their click between the WP’s can result into magic. The puzzle pieces came together (mind you we are a couple from Suriname where we speak Dutch, at first the communication was in English, and later we learned that the WP's were from the Netherlands and spoke English, Spanish and Dutch as well), which resulted in an unforgettable, emotional, breathtaking, mind-blowing magical wedding day. The under the surface actions where huge and the WP’s carelessly took our worries away: the venue, the wedding celebrant, guests transportation, make-up artist, dressing rooms (need I say that we had a complete house at our disposal) floral-, seating, banqueting, you name it EVERYTHING spot on. Did I mention our dance floor? Also a big shout out to the banqueting staff, not only were they polite but they reacted promptly, moved swiftly and made sure that our guests were 100% comfortable. Mina was our wedding fairy god mother!!! She is such an expert and a real gem of a human! My husband and I had our wedding at Villa La Joya back in May and planned everything via Zoom. Mina was so responsive to answer literally every single question promptly via text and set up zoom meetings along the way for check-ins. I was sending her tons of random Pinterest photos the months before with my ideas. I didn’t even see the venue or the setup until I walked in to walk down the aisle, but let me tell you Mina and the team got every little detail exactly how I had pictured. We had a mishap where we went over the deadline to book the tent, but then the night before the wedding a hurricane was approaching - Mina quickly gathered the team last min and they spent hours the night before the wedding putting up the tent to make sure the weather didn’t stop the party from going on! The day of the wedding she was there for me the entire time to help me with my dress, call cabs for drunk bridesmaids, made sure I ate, helped with my outfit change - anything I asked for she was right there at my beckon call, all while coordinating the timeline of events and the team. We seriously could not have done this without her. She really went above and beyond and made us feel like we were her only couple, even though we knew we were one of many! We even wound up going to Holland for our honeymoon, Mina’s home country. She made us a 10 page guide of all the things to do and see. It was amazing - highly recommend this crew! From the first interaction with Gabi, Anna and Mina we knew this a group of pros. That day they took us to see all the venues. It was the smallest details, like packing water, beer and snacks for our day of visiting all those venues. It was being on time, having a detailed plan of our visits and giving us a detailed description of each venue before we arrived. I was very impressed. The communication was excellent, always replying to our emails within hours. All of the vendors they recommended were excellent! Not one issue with any of them. They recommended a bar to do a welcome cocktail party and it was amazing! And then there was the day of the wedding. Everything ran like a Swiss watch. The venue was amazing! The setup, the music, the food, the service, the flowers…everything way over my expectations. Gabi and Anna’s Team were there until the last guest left (2:30am!). We would absolutely recommend Anna Schriemer. Our wedding not only was everything we wanted, but exceeded our expectations and would have been nearly impossible to do without her and from afar. On top of that she was lovely to work with and went above and beyond, picking us up from the airport and driving us around when we did our site visit, and spending countless hours on the phone with us. 

We had to change our wedding date when we were pretty far into the process and while most planners would have likely told us no outright, she pulled off the impossible by getting everything switched for us. 

The vendors she works with are also top-notch. We could tell from the moment we met everyone that not only were they super professional and trustworthy, but that the service was going to be great and it was.

And meeting her in person was the icing on the cake! Anna is so friendly, hospitable, funny and she went above and beyond for us and our family, I cannot thank her enough! It has been almost 3 weeks since the wedding, and our friends are still non-stop talking about how amazing the wedding was! And we owe that all to Anna and Paradise Weddings & Events! Thank you for helping our vision come to life! The wedding felt like a dream! It was so magical and everything was just so perfect! Often times I hear couples tell me that they did not get to enjoy their wedding, but not us. We are still in awe on how perfect everything was! Starting Friday at the rehearsal dinner through Saturday night it was honestly and truly like a dream. The wedding was beyond anything I could have perfected. It truly was a dream wedding. Thank you so so so much to Anna and Paradise Weddings & Events.
